Safety First
Holidays are all about having fun, tons of excitement, relaxation and good memories and are usually a much anticipated time off from the everyday routine. While planning all sorts of interesting and thrilling things for you and your family to do, please consider the safety of your group – as unfortunately, accidents are likely to happen in unfamiliar environments.
The following should not be treated as a comprehensive list of hazards, but merely highlights we consider the main areas of caution:
- Do not dive into the pool
- Do not run around the pool – wet feet and wet tiles are very slippery
- Always supervise children and non-swimmers in and around the pool area.
- Do not climb onto any walls or fences. There is a big drop on the other side.
- The bathrooms are fully tiled; as such the floors can be slippery when wet.
- The internal and external steps are marble, as such can be slippery when wet.
- Night swimming or swimming under the influence of alcohol is not recommended.
- There are 3 sets of glass sliding patio doors on the ground floor. Take extra care with these as at times, particularly in bright sunlight, it can be difficult to tell if they are opened or closed. When not in use, please keep them locked
- Be careful when using the oven and toaster, as the outside of these can get quite hot.
House Rules
_ Please respect our home as you would your own.
_ Make sure you enjoy yourselves every minute of your stay.
_ Strictly no smoking.
_ No pets are allowed.
– Please do NOT use P20 or coloured (purple/green/carrot infused etc) suntan lotion. They ruin everything from sunloungers to towels and sheets.
Quiet Times
Though we are located on the outskirts of the village of Spartia, there is a residential community and, although this is a holiday destination, it’s home to many people. As such we ask that you respect their privacy and their right to a peaceful existence! Specifically, between the hours of 12pm and 8am noise should be kept to a minimum.
Breakages
We understand that sometimes accidents happen! Should you break anything please let us know immediately – if it’s minor we usually won’t charge. If it’s a larger issue (e.g. the TV screen!) we would like to agree the cost with you before you leave to avoid any issues later. Thank you!
